OOOOOOOOh, The Weather outside is Frightful...

Not really, it's actually awesome and REALLY beautiful...The air is still, snow is still barely sprinkling, tree branches are Overloaded with snow! LOVE IT!!! Keep in mind if we were in Nebraska, the wind would have already either blown all the snow into huge drifts or iced everything into it's place, or it would be 80 degrees and the snow would be gone. hahaha. I love Southwest Michigan!

Makes me want to go skiing in Colorado...hmmm...anyone up for that??

In just 5 minutes....

Well, yesterday my good cousin-like friend Kara invited me to her parent's house in Lansing (she lives in Florida) to hang out for the day. It was SO much fun to see them again...especially since she had Zayne, who is 4 months of yumminess.

Let me tell you- these boys are going to be CRAZY when they hang out...Dale and Sherri (Kara's parents) have Kara and 4 younger brothers, back when we were still on the farm, between them and the four of us we got into some serious crap(literally- there seems to be a theme with poop recently on this blog). Most things our parents probably still don't know about- but we were dangerous/crazy. I think that's why our parents always stayed inside while we were together. We were too scary to watch. Anyways, now that Kara and I have sons- LOOKOUT. Our poor boys have SIX crazy uncles that I'm sure will be entertained for years dragging them into all kinds of stuff....Josiah came over yesterday- he skipped one of his college classes to see us-oops - but it was SO fun cause it's been 4 1/2 years since we've seen each other (he's in the military). SIGH. It was fun.

Zayne wasn't happy to have his picture taken...it was nap time. And E was eating, which is good cause I can't hold them both for very long- especially when they're wound up. haha

Kara, Sherri and I chased the boys around the basement for a while, then we made a run to Walmart, ate lunch, then chased the boys for a little longer...then Uncle Josiah came and suddenly I wasn't as important. haha. He walked thru the doors and both boys came quickly over to him- huge grins- holding on to his pant legs...like they were totally waiting for him to come home or something. So cute. Then he found many ways to entertain them on Micah's therapy stuff...Micah was just sitting on the couch watching all the action....he even-reluctantly I'm sure- let us change (many) poopy diapers on his tilt table- hahaha (thanks!!)

And of course we had to make a mess sometime on the trip...

And then we came home and had a wonderful evening of pizza with Deb and Rich, and later Uncle Whitey came over for a hair cute and story time....

the end of a GREAT day. =)

NEW TITLE: Here's the squishy

It's been a while and much has happened. Sigh.

Erin and Josh visited last weekend and the time flew by, as usual. There was, however, quite the story that I must document. And it goes like this....

Erin and Marth are in the kitchen making enchilada soup. Yummo. Ry and Josh are in charge of entertaining the boys, which really is more like make sure they don't get into anything dangerous, make a huge mess, or bleed. Easy enough... Josh is on the computer, Ry's reading a magazine in the living room, E and G in their own little world wandering around the room. Time to change a couple of REALLY wet diaps. Ry does his fatherly duty and decides that since G's diap was SO FULL of pee, he would let him air dry for a few seconds. (Already some of you are shaking your heads because they know what's about to follow) All of a sudden we hear a series of "OOOOOHHHHHH MY GOOOOSHHHH!!!! AHHHHHH!!!' NOOOO!!!!" Erin and I stop dead in our tracks, turn around and G is diaperless (I wasn't aware of this) crouched over top of a squishy mess, fists clenched with brownish/green mess oozing out between his fingers. Huge grin on his face, chomping his mouth. Did he eat it? no one knows. E is also inches away from putting his hands in disaster....Josh comes bolting over top of the couch to assist Ry, who picks up G and goes straight for the tub, holding both arms out away from his body so he couldn't wipe/eat/smear/touch anything! Then he starts yelling for me to help him take off G's clothes. Somewhere in there the little phone toy the boys played with had found it's way into the pile of poop, which we decided to just throw out completely...don't miss that really annoying beep it made...plus the poop was in the cracks of the buttons. Sick. So both boys get a really long bath, emergency laundry is started, Josh lovingly cleans the poop pile/stain on the carpet, and Erin and I continue in the kitchen because the boy patrol was not our duty to begin with. hahaha. Makes for a good story!!

Just a little fun at the Thomas house...

Can't resist em.

This is so dang cute. I LOVE FALL!!

WELL...

I don't have much of my valuable nap time left, so I'll have to make this quick!

There are so many more cute pictures of the guys to post up, but there are SO many that I'll just have to do a little slideshow action when I get a chance. Stay tuned.

Also- G is randomly taking a few steps now...he gets super excited! It's kinda funny. Ethan pretty much walks around all the time now...Garrett is just so DANG FAST at crawling, I think he sees walking as a waste of time. But he looks at Ethan like he wants to do it...so I"m sure that's right around the corner, and then he'll just go straight to running. Hahaha.

Erin and Josh are coming up this weekend - Josh has monday and tuesday off next week so they'll stay Friday night to Tuesday! woo hoo!! It's always fun when they visit, and I'm glad they like to travel as much as they do cause it's way easier for people to come to us then the other way around! Doesn't stop us though! Nebraska here we come in 2 months!!! yessssss

Amber is out in NY right now, she totally got a job, maybe a few by the time she returns home tomorrow, which means she'll be moving early part of '09 and be able to stop and stay in the NEW and improved Thomas INN and SuiteS (plural now that we'll have more than one room)!!

Heather and Nate-o returned from their honeymoon and have some SWEET pictures to check out....there's a link on her blog for your convenience =)

St. Joe and Lakeshore get to play each other on Friday night in (what Ry says) will be the biggest game in YEARS!!! You can imagine how excited I am!!! It's gonna be packed. We are now in playoff mode, St Joe is #2, we're #4 in the state. Should be good, gonna have to bring the thermos - high of 40-something. This is the second time we've played St. Joe this year, the first time, we fumbled with seconds left of the 4 quarter when we had only like 2-3 yards to go to score. DANG. It was a nail biter. Anyhoo, all very interesting to you all I'm sure, but that's gonna be fun.

House stuff is comin right along...drywall guys had to come back this week and finish up little parts here and there...then painting this week, pour the back patio step (for the second time) Wednesday, they come and do the final grade on the yard Thursday, then next week will start the tile work inside!!! YAHOO! Now I'm getting excited to move in.

And finally, it's almost time to VOTE and get this election mumbo-jumbo over with. And then we can talk about it for the next 6 months. yeahh see you at the poll! (pole? like the prayer day at school?) haha
