here we go....

It's been a while since I've given an update on the boys. Now is the time.

Ethan's words: Nemo, Cars, NO, down, NO, out, yes, NO, daddy, G, NO, eyes, ice, NO, truck, shoes, NO, juice, and other words that I can sometimes tell what they are
Garrett's words: Veggie, NO (not near as much as Ethan), daddy, cookie, Nemo, and lots of screaming ....uh that's about it

Favorite movies: Cars, Monsters INC, NEMO!, and any Veggie Tales movie

Favorite foods: Almost all fruit, anything we're eating, and anything we put on their plate, if they're hungry enough. =)

And now it's story time.

SOOOO yesterday during the boys' nap, Uncle Whitey came over to pick somethings up. We could hear the boys talking to each other up there cause they were awake, and he asks Ryan and I if they had ever climbed out of their cribs. NO, no no, we said I bet they could, but they never had before...turns out, I go upstairs and Ethan is sitting in the rocking chair reading a book (in the dark) and Garrett is trying to put on some snow boots that were in their closet. WOW. So Whitey totally jinxed us. AND THEN TODAY....I decided to go up there sooner, so maybe they wouldn't have time to jump out....I was walking down the hallway upstairs listening to them laughing. I open the door and see that Ethan is IN GARRETT'S CRIB with him, and they're rolling around laughing. Are you kidding me. HOW DID THAT HAPPEN. Sheesh. I better get a move on the beds!!

RIGHT NOW.

This is what you're all missing by not being at our house this last hour or so. =) hahaha....wish it didn't take ALL DAY to load a video cause that's even funnier. Crazy.

Now I'm REALLY Behind.

Oh MY. Well, Erin and dad took off after lunch today, after his stay since Saturday and Erin being here for over a week. I'll tell you that we were BUSY, for the most part. Short and sweet, here's the run down:

Dad arrives, and over the next few days helps with the boys' beds, teaches me more about tools, finds random things to be fixed around our house, and builds us a SWEET tool bench in 4 hours.

Trip to Lansing to visit Magnussons/Plimptons and eat at their awesome restraunt


and many more pictures in between along with many errands/short shopping trips, time at the beach, Ry's grillin, and great conversation. It was a PACKED 10 days! Now we have a few days to hang out here with no plans and then Carissa and Evelyn come for a few days!!! WOOP WOOP! And before you know it, summer is pretty much over. DANG.
