Current Events!

Remember that class?! That was terrible. Sorry for any of my friends that teach that class...or for those of you who enjoyed it as a student... AT ANY RATE... to keep you updated, here's the latest! Again with the food. At almost 5 months old I guess there's just not more you're into, sleeping and eating. She laughs alot now, and has kinda let go of her crying-when-its-not-mom-holding-me stage, which is nice. But she can sure pound the food (just ask her thighs!!)

And I think since the boys are constantly running circles around her, she is trying to quickly learn how to keep up! She is way faster then this video shows now, cause this was last week... Baby girl growin up!

Joe Thomas

Now that is one funny guy. If you dont know, that's Ryan's dad, and somehow in his crazy busy days he finds time to send me some forwards....inspirational, political, humerous are usually the topics... today he sends me this, and I laughed out loud in a few parts. I don't think I've ever shared any of them with you all, so here it goes. Know that Ryan and I or our marriage are NOTHING like this. ? haha Enjoy some Joe humor!

The Barricklows......

Josh, Erin and Renae went home yesterday. It was sad...but I'm pretty sure they were ready to get back to their quiet home with only one kid....especially Josh. hahaa. Anyhoo, we had LOADS of fun while they were here, pretty much tried to jam as much as possible in 11 days. Here's a quick recap of our time together:

-small group 2x
-dinners with friends
-Easter Sunday with our respective families
-awesome Easter basket gifts for the kids!
-Josh's grandpa's funeral in Ohio
-Park trips
-Clue, book it, and 3 puzzles
-reformatting our computer (YES - thank you JOSH!! and Nate E)
-LOTS of desserts
-more Barricklow family visits
-eating some GREAT food
-time with our fam who lives far away
-NCAA basketball games - Josh won the bracket in our group! (pretty sure I was last)

For the most part the kids did ok and the girls got to share a room since they're both sleeping thru the night. Which was nice cause then we didn't have to have a babe in our room or theirs. At times it was hard to tell which one was crying when they were taking naps, but we figured it out. I also have NEVER mixed up the boys' names as many times as I have Sydney's and Renae's. TERRIBLE!!! Got to be kinda a joke though, cause all of us were doing it. ha

SO. below for your viewing pleasure is just a snipit of our fun, as we took well over 600 pictures/videos of the action. (many have since been deleted by Ry) Maybe we were a bit crazy with the cam, but when your kids are cute.... =) This slideshow is looooooong, enjoy!

Easter Eggs!

Here's a little egg hunt fun from a few days ago. Grandpa Joe does a pretty dang good job hiding things, and I'm sure he's ready to bring on more challenging hiding spots as the boys get older... I thought it would be fun to watch a little big of last year's action to see how much they've grown in 12 months. They were a LOT slower (funny I didn't think so at the time), but they still totally have the same mannerisms...like Ethan swinging his arm like that when he runs. Funny! Anyhoo, CLICK HERE if you'd like to preview Easter's Past, and then grab your popcorn for Easter Part 2 below!

Ok so I just watched it and decided I had to add a few comments since I haden't watched it before just now. Pretty much it's windy and you can't really hear them talking. Darn it! And both of the video's are kinda boring, so you'll just have to take my word for it when I say it was pretty fun! haha. And Susie put an m&m in each of the eggs so they made noise, and once Garrett discovered that, all he wanted to do is just open ALL his eggs to get the candy. And then Ethan continued to give his eggs to G, so G pretty much ate all the candy and Ethan ran around. hahahaaaa. All in all it was a great easter once again. Great family fun, but more importantly it's a great chance to remember what Christ did for each of us on the cross. As the kids get older we look forward to time when we can teach them the true meaning of that day. =)
