Father, protect me from the evil one. Keep me from spiritual indifference and shallowness. Make me aware and intolerant of worldly attitudes. Give me an ever-deepening desire to receive your word with great eagerness. May it take root deeply in my soul so that I bear lasting fruit for your glory!
