Weddin Time!

Well, we made it safely there and back and have tons of memories from the weekend! Cale and Meg's wedding was AWESOME, and thanks to many key people went smoothly and as scheduled with no major problems. As you all may have known, the weather for Omaha was pretty much rain all weekend, and with an out door wedding that can be a bit of a downer. But both bride and groom were not worried (alot of others worried enough for them) and sure enough, God saw that the sky would clear and the sun would come out just in time for a beautiful ceremony in a beautiful park. It was so fun. I only have a few pictures of the weekend because we use Erin and Josh's camera most of the time since it's better. SO, check their blog for more pics and I'm sure someone in the fam will have MANY pictures on facebook if you're really that interested. =) SO, here's a short collection of the ones I have.

The first are a few from visiting my grandpa in Oakland on saturday morning, since he couldn't make it to the wedding. It was so sweet to see him again, I wish we lived closer for just that reason. And the boys love him!

Sunday morning we went over to mom's and hung out with grandma and our uncle and aunt from Florida. The groom was able to hang out for a while too and spend some time with the nephies! PS, it's raining outside during this time- day of wedding- and groom is cheery as can be. he said he only got like 2 hours of sleep the night before cause he was so dang excited. haha!

Here's one of the groomsmen and then another with the beautiful bride and her two bros. her family is SO MUCH FUN- the tall wierd one was my walking partner. haha. Suits looked awesome, meg's dress was so beautiful, and even more amazing was to know that her mom MADE her dress and all the bridesmaid dresses. SO Amazing. And for the reception, Meg put on a pink sash around her waist and a pink rose in her hair. She was hot. =)

Not really a great angle, but here's a view of the bm dresses- the most comfy ones EVER. And great for being pregnant! That's the only pic I have. how terrible!

A bit into the reception the boys had enough and decided to call it a night. SO grandma and mom got to hold the little sweaty blobs while they slept, they were really sad about that. haha. JK SO CUTE!

Anyways, like I said, make sure you check Erin's blog cause I'm sure she'll have some more action shots of our packed weekend!

Hump Day.

Well hello! I was planning on putting up some pictures of our landscaping, but all those are saved on the external hard drive and that's too much work for the hour. So you'll have to keep waiting. =)

BUT, I see that I have a few of the new furniture and of the boys breakin it in...so here they are...

A few things to note:
1. Notice the cleanliness. it doesn't take long to get all full of slobber, carpet fuzz, and cracker crumbs
2. Large furniture in a large room, which took us a while to get used to, but now it's hard not to notice the empty walls. haha. It's gonna be like that for a while. dang. at least they're painted!
3. Binoculars needed from a few seats to see the tv. good thing we don't have cable?

I gave the boys another hair cut today....clippers. WOW. Ethan didn't like it so much, so his doesn't look as good. They need to look ship shape for this weekend, since we're leavin on Friday for NEB to hang out with the fam for a short weekend and to witness Cale and Meg get hitched!! WOOP WOOP! Can't wait. I've been told everyone's hair is all on me. Bring it.

Alas, I must hand over the care-taking of babe Elle after tomorrow. It's been 6 weeks already and Lakeshore is done with school today- tomorrow is just a teacher's day. So Em can stay home! That went pretty dang fast if you ask me. Elle's pry been ready for 5 weeks now already. haha...the boys REEEALLY like her! Just one step closer to some time at the beach with Em and Elle!

Weekend getaway!

Well, we're off to KC tomorrow after Ry's done with work. It's been ONE YEAR since we've been there and seen Todd and Liz, and we've NEVER met baby Olivia! SO EXCITING! I'm sure they're will be tons of pictures to prove how much fun we'll have. =) Really can't wait for the 8 hour drive too. That will be awesome! Haha. Anyways, Ryan is in desperate need of a day off (hasn't had one since Christmas- not to mention working some weekends too) and I'm in desperate need to hang out more with Ryan. =) SO, we've been planning on this for quite some time...last year, there were two babies, this year there's three, next year, there will be four! my my my. Good thing they have a huge FENCED IN back yard! Fun fact from last time... Toby, their dog, decided he was going to break into my travel bag, while we were out, and chew thru the ziplock bag filled with misc items, only to eat my prenatal vitamins! hahaa. Everything else was fine, just all over the floor. Todd says he was hormonal all weekend. So, maybe this trip I'll have to package them up a little better. That was pretty funny....

At any rate, I'm sure there will be many more fun memories made in the next few days, Josh and Erin are almost to the airport as I type this...so we will have a whole welcoming crew when we get there tomorrow night! Everyone have a great weekend and make good choices!

Monday's News

Well everyone...I've been waiting quite some time to share this news with you, only because I wanted to make sure just HOW MANY there were in there....this morning they tell me that the word is...

ONE! Ryan and I were pretty excited. =) Due date: Nov. 15th!

Kinda looks like nothing really right now, and especially because my scaner (taking a picture of the picture) isn't really the best. haha. But there you have it!

It's just time.

There have been many good pictures in the last few weeks that just need to be on the blog. So here it goes. This will be totally random. =)

Some of you may know, I'm watching our good friends - the white's - baby girl Elle while Em finishes out the semester. I've got some serious pictures of the boys and her just hanging out. She thinks Garrett is the funniest person....so cute! And both boys are REALLY sweet with her, try to 'feed' her (aka- shove the bottle in the direction of her mouth) or give her passy back, give her the blanket, rock the car seat if she's in it, you know....or EAT the bottom of the bottle while she's eating...HAHA...check out her face. =)

And they've also been a good help in the kitchen....like today when I was making some brownies for a family that just had a baby. =) yum yum

and are you kidding me with this picture?! HAHA senior pic shot?!?

and of course, some time with dad...

and last, but def not least, this is AWESOME! hahahaaaaa

hmmm...

Some of you will watch this video and gasp a few times I'm sure, me on the other hand, not even worried. Is that bad?? haha. Garrett has recently taken up 'jumping' off the arm of the couch, or the end table onto the couch....oh my. He's only 17 months old....we're in for it with this one, I can tell. Does he get that from the Schweitz side?? Ethan, for the most part takes the role of the observer, but he's been seen doing his own stunts from time to time as well. haha. Enjoy!

Mr. Golden Sun

There's just too much. I haven't actually WRITTEN in a looooong time on here...sorry people. You'll just have to wait for that day. haha. Erin and Josh have made the week fly by, and the next 6-ish weeks will be the same. Starting Monday, I get to watch Elle while Emily finishes up her school year with the 3rd graders! WOO HOO!! Let's just be serious for a minute here. This last week I was like a zombie. Don't know what came over me...but now I'm back in the saddle, worked outside on the yard all day today and part of yesterday, and that was just the ticket! Good 'ol Michigan weather has started lookin good again, and I may have even a slightest hint of some sun on my face and arms from today. yesss!! At any rate, the yard is taking shape, and we will be putting some pictures up of that process here shortly. Stay tuned.

But for now, feast your eyes on these few from the past few days! Check out the boys' hair!! so cute!
