Carissa came up a few weeks ago to take some pics of the fam...and the boys...and sent me back THREE CD's FULL of photos to look thru. HOLY CRAP. SO....here are the ones that she and I both liked, and how to narrow it down to decorate the walls in our house....that's another question. But anyways, there's quite a few, so grab a bag of popcorn and make yourself comfy!

Fun with friends!

We had some friends over last night since it's been a while since we've seen em...let's just say the boys had a little fun together. haha. After supper the three of them ran around our island for a solid 10 minutes straight. What if we all did that after we ate each meal. WOAH. Anyhoo, here's a few shots from their fun, and Ry's too I'm sure. =)

30 and counting

Well, I haven't been taking as many pregnant pictures as the first time around but thought it was time I took at least ONE...actually I think it's the second official preg pic. At any rate, today marks 30 weeks, 10 to go - I know, TAKE FOREVER. Baby center is telling me that the girl is 15.5 inches long already and weighs about 3 pounds. DANG! She's a mover too. The boys moved alot in there too, well mostly Garrett, and that totally was the same once they came out....so I'm pretty much in for it I think. Just for comparison's sake....

Do Re Mi

I've been MIA. I wasn't going to put up pictures until the finished product, but I was starting to feel bad about not posting in a while. haha. SO, here's what I've been working on for too long.


BEDS for the boys! Woo hoo! I found a picture of this really easy frame online for a toddler bed, so I just went off of that drawing and made it in mini version to fit crib-sized mattresses. =) Ry's been helping me with the finishing work - sand, stain, lacquer. YIKES. That's the part that takes FOREVER. And turns out, I like to see immediate results so - you guessed it - this isn't my favorite part. haha. But that's ok, we're SO CLOSE to being done, and then pop in a few screws, Presto: BEDS. Perfect timing, in case you haven't read the previous post. The boys are ready. =) So anyhoo, there are other projects on deck too, (the girl's room) but beds are priority #1. Stay tuned for the final photos!

It's been a while since I've given an update on the boys. Now is the time.

Ethan's words: Nemo, Cars, NO, down, NO, out, yes, NO, daddy, G, NO, eyes, ice, NO, truck, shoes, NO, juice, and other words that I can sometimes tell what they are
Garrett's words: Veggie, NO (not near as much as Ethan), daddy, cookie, Nemo, and lots of screaming ....uh that's about it

Favorite movies: Cars, Monsters INC, NEMO!, and any Veggie Tales movie

Favorite foods: Almost all fruit, anything we're eating, and anything we put on their plate, if they're hungry enough. =)

And now it's story time.

SOOOO yesterday during the boys' nap, Uncle Whitey came over to pick somethings up. We could hear the boys talking to each other up there cause they were awake, and he asks Ryan and I if they had ever climbed out of their cribs. NO, no no, we said I bet they could, but they never had before...turns out, I go upstairs and Ethan is sitting in the rocking chair reading a book (in the dark) and Garrett is trying to put on some snow boots that were in their closet. WOW. So Whitey totally jinxed us. AND THEN TODAY....I decided to go up there sooner, so maybe they wouldn't have time to jump out....I was walking down the hallway upstairs listening to them laughing. I open the door and see that Ethan is IN GARRETT'S CRIB with him, and they're rolling around laughing. Are you kidding me. HOW DID THAT HAPPEN. Sheesh. I better get a move on the beds!!

This is what you're all missing by not being at our house this last hour or so. =) hahaha....wish it didn't take ALL DAY to load a video cause that's even funnier. Crazy.
